Anger is often thought of as being an aggressive and violent response. Actually being angry is often a very appropriate response. The problem is that it is frequently not expressed in a healthy or constructive way. Society teaches us to “be polite” and that anger is not acceptable so we learn from childhood to overlook what we are feeling inside. Then because we don’t express our anger, it builds up inside. We either turn it inwards, directing it at ourselves, or we explode at the people we love and care about in an attempt to let it out.

We aim to try to get clients to begin to acknowledge their own anger and look for solutions to dealing with situations or people that they feel angry about. Some triggers have been with us since childhood, when we originally learned that anger was “bad”. As adults many of these situations are no longer the threat we perceived them to be and in these cases we help you release them through hypnosis. we also help you to learn to deal with anger triggers in a way that is more assertive and is less likely to build up as hostility within.
